Using effective systems and the willing participation of the people involved, we strive to eliminate the causes of lost production and reliability. The effectiveness of our systems is shown at TRUenergy’s Yallourn Mine where the asset management and life maintenance plans we developed now drive the asset budgeting processes.
The health and safety of the people who work with Silcar – and others who may be affected by Silcar’s work –is our highest priority. Silcar believes safety is the key to well-managed assets, as illustrated by the dramatic improvement in safety we achieved at the Australian Paper Shoalhaven mill – while reducing maintenance costs and increasing production output.
