The Silcar organisation is structured around decentralised business operations delivering products and services to clients supported by strong, centrally monitored functional processes.

The Business operations are grouped into operating divisions to ensure there is an appropriate span of control for management of operations and to address succession planning. The functional groups are represented at a corporate level by central functional departments. The central functional departments are part of the Silcar central division. Parent companies, specialist service providers and strategic advisers provide external backing for Silcar. The purpose of each part of the organisation is shown below.
